This is an informational alert for iQQ clients that use SAML-based authentication to access iQQ.  Allied's SAML authentication portal is experiencing connectivity issues. This will affect any accounts accessing iQQ with SSO through an IDP program.  Users attempting to login to iQQ are seeing sporadic timeouts at the auth.alliedsolutions.net URL, and error messages of "unable to reach page" or similar connection/timeout errors, depending on the browser used.

 

We are working with our SAML software vendor to ensure connectivity through the authentication portal ASAP.

Good afternoon,

 

We've been monitoring the SSO software and seen generally improved stability, but will continue monitoring through tomorrow before confirming the issue resolved.  SAML users are expected to see ease of login without issue for the remainder of the day.

The SAML access issues which affected login access yesterday afternoon were seen as stable since end of day 2/01/2022.  We have monitored today and seen no recurrence, and consider the current mitigation effort successful.  Complete RCA is still in progress and will be appended to this incident on the StatusCast site.
